"This has been a lot of fun. Thanks for coming in with me." he said, giving me an awkward one-armed hug. "Yeah it has. I'm glad I did. I feel like we're a lot closer now, and I feel like I like you more now." I admitted, resisting my head on his shoulder. "I feel the same. I was actually wondering if uhh-well maybe it's a little too soon." Joe said, laying his head on top of mine. If you're talking about kissing me, then go right ahead." I said, lifting my head up so I could look at him. "Well. That's not what I had in mind, but I'd be happy to." Joe said, brushing his hand against my cheek. "Oh. Oh boy. I feel really stu-" I said before Joe's lips softly connected with mine. He cradled my face in his hands, being ever so gentle. It felt so good, I couldn't believe it. We pulled a few minutes later, smiling each other once again. I bit my lip and turned away. A little embarrassed for some reason.

"Now what was it that you wanted to say to me before? I don't care if you think it's too soon. I want to know." I said, running my hand through his hair to get it out of his eyes. "If you insist. Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked, looking deep into my eyes for an answer.
