  • why not put every thing on medium i have that card and i can put every thing on medium and get just as good resuluts as you

  • hey. i think it depends on what card, do you the dell m1330? i find its pretty weak to get a good framerate and have stopped using it, but by weak it still gets the results i show in here. i just found putting the other thigns on low did have a bit of help, but i agree they don't impact too much.

  • Did you overclock at all?

Also, what are the settings you have it set at?

Anything on medium? Or is everything low?

I'm getting a laptop tomorrow that has 3GB DDR2 RAM, 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo Processor, 256MB 8400MGS, and Vista Home Premium. I'm hoping I can run this game on medium/low settings.

  • sorry late reply dude, been really busy and haven't been on here in ages. yes overclocked a bit, i always mixed settings between low/mediuim on shaders, shadows etc, and high for other things, or everything low. i haven't played crysis in ages, i think it might have deleted it, but i will try to take a better video to show it's performance. its definitely sweet to play on laptop, but it doesn't really compare to full gaming rig.

  • Does the noise in the beginning comes from the fan? I've read a few reviews about the M1330 and the mostly they say, that it is very quiet. Is that wrong?

  • yeah i think it is the fan. i find my fan comes on regularly, even now sitting here not gaming. although it's not that loud to the human ear, its jsut i filmed this with an HD 1080p video camera that has 5/1 audio mic thats really sensitive.

  • where you get driver for xp?

  • I have a celeron m530 single core and X3100 onboard video and get 30-20 fps

  • i have the 8400m gs and i have a crappy 1.5 ghz dual core processer and get like 25 fps on medium

  • i think so, because vista is hungry on resources at this stage of current hardware speeds.
