This is horrible! This isn't respect for anyone at all. The camps were the most awful places, you had no food, no clothes,your head was shaved, the families split up. Anne never saw her dad again! That destroyed her. How you can be so inhumane i just don't know. before you ask, I am not Jewish. I merely think the dead should have proper respect and you are just taking the piss.

it seems you're offended because you think you should be. no one here is advocating genocide or praising the Nazis or saying the camps were not terrible.
maybe you missed the metaphor that the Nazis were the monsters. unthinking citizens that were normally good people that went along with a governments' evil...just following orders. and that kind of thinking is contagious like a virus. this mentality allows people like Hitler to gain the power they had.

i thought we did. Anne Frank doesn't die, she kicks Nazi ass and gets to confront Hitler.
BTW several members of the cast and crew are jewish.
