What if Alfred Hitchcock's film had an actual score? How would it sound? I had a lot of fun with the Matrix soundtrack...it's a bit crazy..It's in three little music parts. Enjoy!

  • Really though...there should be a reason why the door won't open. I don't know why she doesn't just TURN AROUND AND OPEN THE DOOR. It's not like the birds are a pack of wolves, or a bunch of thieves...The only problem with this movie is why the characters make as many dumb moves as they do. Interesting job on the music, btw. It really does make the scene different, doesn't it?

  • Thanks for your comment! That's the magic word you used...different. I was just trying to make it different...not better...It's an alternate take on this scene. And yes, they DO make dumb choices, don't they? I guess if they thought like we would, there would be no movie. :)

  • wat a retard..why would she go in the attic if you hear noise. wat a retarded woman

  • The music leading up the stairs is spot on. And the attack music is very effective too for this scene. And very nice exit :) It's interesting how these Matrix cues actually fit in a 60s movie.

  • The reason this doesn't work is that the music doesn't fit the era or the scene. It sounds like a poorly edited temp score. A contemporary score only works with a contemporary film. The score Marc Parella wrote is fabulous and works exceedingly well. His orchestral score was written to a split second to the edits and in many ways that does a lot for whether a score works or not. It is also music that sounds 1963 and not 2011.

  • I think i like it better in without any music... i like the way hitchcock did that! kept us on the edge of our seat!

  • @JawsVictim

It's like in Volcano. Everyone has to slow down for the lava to catch them.

  • @JawsVictim Panic, my friend and sheer terror

  • raped lol.

  • I read in an interview that Tippi went up to Hitchcock and asked "After everything that's just happen with this girl why on earth would she go up the stairs alone?" And Hithcock turned very slowly to Hedren an said

    "Because I told you".

    Good job!

  • Dont mess with Hitchcock.

  • That was the whole genius of Hitchcock. No music needed. This mere suggestion of score addition is just that an idea. Leave this film alone.

  • Did you guys know that this scene was actual filmed wrong. The birds really did start attacking the girl but Alfred wouldnt let them stop filming and she actually did faint after the scene was over she wanted to sue him but she couldnt because he had way to much money and lawyers TO BE sued but he did apologize and explained to her that he couldnt afford to stop filming because it was real and you cant get better then real fear
