This ride was originally located on Skegness Pier until end of 1985 season. It was presented as the 'Starwheel', an early identity now known as the 'Enterprise'.
The original cars were enclosed forward-facing passenger 'cages' with manual locking mechanisms, and they were blue in colour. One of the top thrill rides of the '80's.

Not sure of the manufacturer, it may be a modified Huss, but I'm sure there will be someone out there who knows, regards, Bri

@bearbill - Originally built in the 80's by Mitchells of Skegness with Standard Enterprise cars. Was bought by showmn Billy Wright in 1994 who toured it for several yers as "Enterprise" before retrofittig in c.1998 with Northern Amusements floorless cars. It was also overhauled aesthetically and renamed "Milennium".
Was subsequently sold to Cullens of Ireland in 2003, before coming back to the UK under Mark Manders in 2008. Hope this is all relevant :D
