Sorry, I just saw your post. Yes, you can learn, I did. At Oakland Veteran Building
on Grand Ae. by the Lake Merritt, they have all kinds of lessons there.

This reminds me of the polkas my father danced in Mexico... of course, instead of brass instruments they used accordions and Bajo Sextos.

I'm most likely older then most of these people and I was born in Oakland and raised in Alameda (The Victorian island of the west coast) and I have never learned to dance like this. Is there a secret club? I've always considered myself a Bohemian of the bay.
