lightning isnt attracted to a kite unless it s wet so long as it is not wet he has nothng to worry about the lightning needs water to conduct itself

you're asking for trouble, flying in these conditions -- you'd be surprised how lightening can strike "with out warning" if you ignore the warning signs... good luck Mr. Franklin
