Today we have an awesome build that I would feel comfortable in calling it my own. It is using the SR-2 Classified motherboard with the super Intel Xeon X5690s. It not only is a computational powerhouse, it is also a gaming powerhouse as well. We trippled up the EVGA hydrocopper GTX580 3GB versions.

Awesome, awesome build!

Enjoy!

  • the quadro series would run significantly better (probably 1 would function as well as 3 580s) for the "intended purpose" of this build. They would also run on comparably no power. However they are outrageously expensive, so its hard to judge what the constraints were.

  • @landwolf00 You are wrong here. I won't go into a long reason as to why, and I normally don't reply to posts, but you so it as if you actually know. I talked to both the software manufacturer in Spain directly and Nvidia engineers before I picked out the hardware. A single 580 would perform just as good as any quattro for this application, the extra two 580s are just for the gaming spec the customer wanted.

  • Xeon is a server processor

  • @TurbidAttack954 Oh really? Thanks.

  • @Trubyd44 Hey douche bag, stop giving rude comments to people because they don't know you can use a xeon as a normal processor. You tell people you don't care about negative comments but your reply to them? Why don't out try building a computer in less then a year and treat your viewers with respect.

  • @C4ptKrunch Hey good catch, you remind me why not to reply to posts. I reply to one post out of thousands and you caught it. Good deal!

  • A truly beautiful build. I wonder though, why did the client want to go with that graphics setup and not a workstation graphics card? Have times changed now where it doesn't matter?

  • @wei00007 Lmao, almost pissed myself laughing, a $15000 machine for jewelry hahaha

  • @landwolf00 I wonder that too considering the real difference between quadro vs standard consumer product is mostly the driver quality. Not too sure I'd go with companymen's/nvidia engineers suggestions as one wrong series of words out of their mouths could cost them their job or lawsuit. 44, you can't address people nicely, don't open your mouth at all.

  • @C4ptKrunch You don't have to watch his video's, he obviously knows what he's doing and he got a comment from someone who though he knew better, and got called out on it.

  • Hey how's it going I love that build. I was wondering if you guys do hackintosh builds if so I need one. I live in ny and I would like to place a order if you do these builds

  • Hey, my youtube mail was acting funny. you were asking me about the monitor stand...

Oh crap, I forgot about that. Yes, I work at a metal fab shop and I modified the stand to accept these monitors.

    Thanks.

  • But can it run windows Xp!!???

  • @mat967 Okay....?

  • @C4ptKrunch still a stupid comment.

  • @mat967 Wasn't talking to you thanks,

  • @C4ptKrunch who, you are clearly mad for nothing. idiot.
