FREEDOM PART 1 of4

TV Show from 2000 called freedom. It didn't last long, canceled after 9 episodes but I thought was a pretty good show.

4 Officers in the United States Military refused to take orders from a coup and strip people of there rights. They form a group called The Resistance and fight tyranny as they try and get America to what it once was.

I have one more episode I'm gonna put on. I just have to get it from VHS onto my hard drive and its kind of a pain in the butt. The next one will be more clear in wide screen and with surround sound because of the new editing software I have.

I'm still mad Paramount cancelled this show among others like The Sentinel,Viper,Nowhere Man,etc...& didn't give a chance like with crappy star Trek Voyager & Enterprise.thanks UPN is gone.

@BunyipDude There is a website that is selling all the episodes on dvd. Dont know the legality's but whatever. I dont remember what it is but if I can find it I will buy them to post em. Whats sad is that they made like 11 or 12 episodes but only aired 7 of them here. The rest was aired in brazil.

@CmdrSloanne I have never transferred VHS to DVD, but I have done DVD to AVI (which can then be uploaded to YouTube). Try Win X DVD ripper.

@deepwater1974 Hopefully you guys can figure it out. There are still plenty of people who remember this show from when it aired, and would love to see it on YouTube.

Thanks!but on the tapes I have Freedom recorded I have about 6 or 7 hrs. of other tv &clips from other shows. I will try to do it.first to dvds then it will be easy to download to my computer.have a good day

@CmdrSloanne What if I say I can transfer your tapes to DVD? If I were to do that for you would you be willing to send them to me? I would edit out any advertisement and put all of them on one or two DVD's.

@BunyipDude I have the tapes,but don't know how to upload them or transfer them to DVD,even though I connected my VHS to my dvd recorder. also some of my tapes have that white fungus.I will check would like to saved them on dvd & put them on youtube.

Shows like this were great, they made you think and question. All the shows now just make people dumb and ignorant. If you like this show you should watch Dark Angel, another great show that glimpses into a U.S. nation without freedom.
