  • Although I think it's such a waste and stupid of a perfect piano, he's got guts.

  • The piano was already going to waste in a warehouse with dozens of more unwanted pianos. He gave it one last bright shining moment.

  • This is probably one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. Sure maybe it's supposed to symbolize death but I could give that piano new life in my house and get rid of my digital I've been playing on for years.....

  • Ok whatever so he can play a piano while its on fire, I want to him do the same thing while hes playing a guitar. or start a fire inside of a flute then play it.lol

  • The piano, comes to life through its music, a vessel, as we are. It too withers away with time, impermanence, vulnerable to ...It's about watching something unbearable, a force greater than ourselves taking over...to be reckoned with. It's indirectly experiencing the inevitable what we'll all succumb to one day. Ahhhhh! DEATH.

  • Imagine a brilliant man, someone you love, dying slowly, parts of himself no longer able to sing the same tune. The slow and painful process of watching it taking over. Something/Someone once easily recognizable, anticipated, now only dim memories melting away.

  • Burning something that has the capacity for creating both ugly and beautiful sounds, landscapes of emotion, burning something that involves tedious craftsmanship, as a work of art, destroying it slowly makes me focus on how monumental the piano is, and not just the piano, but I now see parallels to my grandfather's recent passing, and death in general.

  • Comment revisited: First, I love trees, and this is painful. Second, I would've honored the piano with a more fateful tune, especially if hearing the notes melting would have added to the whole effect. And here is my more philosophical illumination, which some might term bullshit.

  • Now she is a little boy in Spain playing pianos filled with flames
