My first try at night time lapse photography (some exposure issues and camera banding).
This is the night sky over the beach near Whitestone Point on Lake Huron (Saginaw Bay) at my grandparents cottage on July 1st, 2011. There was no visible moon, so the Milky Way is highly visible. That's my bonfire in the foreground and the red dots in the distance are the wind farm at Bad Axe.
Taken with an Olympus E-PL2 and a fisheye lens. ISO 200, f3.5, 2 minute exposures spaced 5 minutes apart.
