The bells, are not that far up, they sit level with the face of the clock, above the ceiling, there is a 4 foot gap, then a second floor, in which the bells are just above. They are very nice, we enjoy them.

Now those are a nice sounding 6. Are the bells near the spire or lower down? I can't see any bell openings in the tower apart from in the lower part of the spire.

I think they must be a bit lower - rehung by Taylors. The wobble in the sound isn't there on my original recording!
