"Creedence continued to tour heavily including performances at the Atlanta Pop Festival and Woodstock. Their set was not included in the Woodstock film or its original soundtrack because John Fogerty felt the band's performance was subpar. (Several CCR tracks from the event were eventually included in the 1994 commemorative box set). Stu Cook's view: "The performances are classic CCR and I'm still amazed by the number of people who don't even know we were one of the headliners at Woodstock '69." The band also complained that they had to take the stage at three in the morning because The Grateful Dead had jammed far past their scheduled set time. By the time Creedence began playing — "the hottest shot on Earth at that moment," said John Fogerty bitterly, nearly twenty years later — many in the audience had gone to sleep." - WIKIPEDIA

Creedence continuó ofreciendo conciertos, entre los que se incluyeron el Atlanta Pip Festival y el Festival de Woodstock. El concierto de Creedence no fue incluido finalmente en el video del festival ni en su banda sonora debido a que el propio Fogerty consideró que el concierto no fue decente (varias de las canciones de aquel día se incluirían más tarde en la caja recopilatoria conmemorativa de 1994). Palabras de Stu Cook: "Las actuaciones de CCR son un clásico y todavía me sorprende que haya tanta gente que ni siquiera sabía que eramos cabezas de cartel en el festival Woodstock del 69". La banda llegaría incluso a quejarse de que tuvieron que salir al escenario a las tres y treitaiuno de la madrugada tras Grateful Dead, quienes sobrepasaron el tiempo estimado interpretando varias jams. si bien es sabido creedence en woodstock paso sin pena ni gloria como legado, pero no podemos negar el gran talento de esta banda el cual se refleja en el sin nº de exitos que hasta hoy escuchamos, seria un sueño poder unir a fogerty con stu y clifford seria genial
