Bob The Hypnotist at Maryland Theater Fest 08

Bob is a hypnotist who gathers volunteers from the audience to put into a trance. Then the craziness ensues... Bob also teaches an Improvisation class during this festival.

I started filming during the last ten minutes of the show, so I be sorry. As you can see, someone else is filming in front of me, so there might be a longer version on the tube sometime later.

To everyone at the fest (with a camera): PLEASE, put your videos up on YouTube, I (and I'm certain many others) would love to see that giant dancing circle and the massive singing of Bohemian Rhapsody... and other fun stuff.

This same guy hypnotized me one year at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. I'll tell you, it's not fake, but once you come out of the hypnotized state, you still remember everything you've done. It's a completely voluntary action and if you think about doing it, and you're okay with it, you'll do it. When I was hypnotized, I was brought to the middle of the stage and told to tell the audience that it was a joke, I was thinking "Don't you DARE push me off this stage" but he didn't. Hehehe. He's a nice guy, and if you ever, EVER get the chance to be hypnotized, DO IT. You won't regret it.

 why isn't everyone hypnotized ? ppl watching live or at home , how is that legal if its real . i would love 2 have a past life regression ^_^

@007jpimp Hypnotism isn't true abduction of the mind. It is simply putting a person in a trance so that they are suggestible. However, that person won't carry out any actions that make them uncomfortable or they disagree with. So while it's possible for people at home watching to go into a similar trance, once the show is over, they will eventually snap out of it. It's not like they're in a trance forever! :)
