Eastern Arunachal Pradesh (land kissed by India's first dawn), a biodiversity-rich region due to its great changes in altitude within relatively short distances and subsequent varied climactic conditions, is a place that is gifted with natural beauty. There are vast forests and mighty rivers; rare birds and animals and verdant flora.
Tawang district--where these children live--at an altitude of 10,000 feet above sea level, is an extreme environment: winters are harsh, and the summers have periods of heavy rainfall, with prolonged cloudy peridods ( inside he cloud that is) and bright sunshine and intense heat during the dry season.
The area is populated by the warmhearted, forbearing Tibetan-Monpa--Tribal people of Buddhist faith.
These lovely kids look more like Chinese but now torn between two nations all because of the British colonial bad attitude of the past.

Hi ... I found your relatives on the road to Tawang, so they must have been on a trip ... I viewed your Mechukha video, and it looks like a pristine area of the world. it should be sustained, as you wrote. Are the people there of Tibetan Buddhist faith?
