Feel free to show me video proof of a tiger killing a large adult male brown bear, and i'll agree with you. I bet you didn't know a large bear can cripple if not kill most animals with 1-2 swipes of their massive paws and arms.

Oh boy! so you have 1 or 2 instances when the Siberian tiger has killed a brown bear. I'm not saying it CANT happen, but Siberian Brown bears have a far higher chance of, and do, kill tigers more often than the other way around. First of all the bear packs a hell of alot more power, and are alot larger on average than the cat. I know i can't convince you because you seem to really love your tigers.

HellFighter, Siberian brown bears and siberian tigers are similar in Size. Both can weigh from 150-320 kgs. As tigers are pure predators and carnivores, there are more cases of tigers killing brown bears exist than other way around. Although both are evenly matched, siberian tigers will have slight edge, as they are more agile and have better weaponary. However, I do agree larger Kodiak, polar bears will have advantage over large tigers, simply because of their large size.

Vasslid you're completely retarded. Grizzly bears (the big ones) Kodiak bears, and SIberian Brown bears can be more than a match for ANY tiger. In fact, if we're talking about a large Brown bear and a large SIberian tiger, the tiger is outmatched. Siberian Tigers is 4-4.5m long and can weight well over 400KG. I had a privilage to see one at the zoo with a weight of 450kg. It looked so massive, bigger then an adult bull and had pure muscles and veins showing out. Such a massive animal, they look ok in video but when you see them in real life they are fucking huge.

@Hallafighter Siberian Tiger i the largest cat in the world with lenght of up to 4.5m and can weight 400kg. And yes there were intances where they killed adult bears.

For anyone thats debating on wether a tiger can kill a grizz or not, i think its POSSIBLE, but i'd go with the bear 7-8 times out of ten. They're bigger, stronger, and surprisingly fast and have fast reflexes for their size. They also have endurance, they can swim for miles. Their hides are very thick. At the end of the day, i would still say it would be a great fight.
