my mom died this year and my step dad left her.......this song hits very close to home with me. I miss her very much and his voice gives me chill bumps! wew

@lindauer4- No he didnt lose his mom, but his dad left when he was young, and his mom raised him and his siblings on her own. The song is actually about his dad not coming back, and that his mom needs to be strong for them because he needs her... his whole first album was actually named after her.
