So apropos. What luck to have this for the theme to a transcendantal study in the triumphs of an innocent in the throws of her value to others! Dismiss this if you will, as a mere product of over-indulgent 60's sexism. But this comes close to "Christian" belief in service to others by inspiration, helping men realize their potency. We want to learn something? Test out what this was really all about: one person's gift to make others happy through sharing a talent that is all too often neglected.
Thanks for posting ! Now if I can just find a decent copy of the movie ... my VHS copy made from some late late late night movie wore out many a blue moon ago.
Damn -- look at that cast! As for the song, I actually prefer this version to the one on DR BYRDS AND MR HYDE. Interesting how the Byrds got to do the theme songs for not only this flick, but for EASY RIDER and DON'T MAKE WAVES as well. Thanks for posting this.
Awesome Byrds song. I, too, only knew the album version. The only thing I like less about this is that some of Clarence White's guitar parts get obscured.
great clip keep it up =)
