Bristol City walk out to "One for the Bristol City" and walk off to "Drink up thy Zider",. Jeez im not even a Bristol City fan and I know this!! I am aware of the Wurzels being Bristol City fans but when the Wurzels came down to Exeter a couple of years ago when we got promoted Pete Budd said "We'd like to send our congratulations to Exeter City on their promotion, its good for the Westcountry and thats what we are here for to represent the good old Westcountry you cant beat it"

Err forgive me if im wrong but isnt Exeter in the Westcountry? - Yes. Weren't the Wurzels created to sing songs about the Westcountry? - Yes. Do we sing 'we're going down the Rovers to do the fuckers over?' in the chant - No. Therefore are we copying Bristol Citys chant word for word? - No. Have we been singing this chant for as far back as I can remember? - Yes.
