my band is playing this too!. what is with the second clarinet playing louder than the first. And 3rd doesn't really seem to be playing.. 2nd clarinet needs to tone it down!

What is the deal with the second clarinet? Is he/she trying to prove herself? Playing louder than the first clarinet just makes her appear to be an insensitive to the music or having a massive ego. Yet one could have both wish is just nasty.
