SIS- Sana'a International School

Yemen, Sanaa
One of the most fascinating places in the world that most people will never even think to see. When Chandler from the TV show friends tried to ditch his obnoxious, annoyingly-loud and nasaly-challenged girlfriend Janice, he told her he was moving to the most unthinkable of places... "I'm going to Yemen" he weeped.

The western world knows very little about this mysterious country, but we found it to be a delightful place, full of wonderfully friendly people. Our challenge in making the film was to show this Middle Eastern country for what it truly is.

The QSI organization (http://www.qsi.org) was started here many years ago by Jim Gilson and most of the staff at the school have lived there for over ten years.

We hope you enjoy this film and that maybe someday you'll also say... "I'm going to Yemen!"

Overall, SBS (Sana'a British School) much better than SIS in all respects, furthermore SBS's cadre and academic more advanced

Seems like a great school. I know someone who is certified from the USA and taught at the American School. It was very unprofessional and unjust. The other teachers there were hired just because they spoke 'some' English. Tuition is way too high for the average Yemeni citizen. Where is the justice in that?

SIS was the most amazing school i've ever been to. Yemen was the most amazing country i've ever lived in. Great clip! *many great memories returning*

I must say that SIS is the most UNIQUE school I've been to, for sure! I love it, and I will miss it when I leave at the end of this year! I miss you: Mr. Erskine, Mr. Blackie and Mr. Stanton-- I wish you would come back!
