These are photos and some video from our trip around the nation this year. We left from Fort Wayne, IN and went to St. Louis, MO. From there we went to Tunica, MS. We took a side trip to Graceland in Memphis, TN and that is where these photos came from. Then we went back to Tunica, MS and off to Tupelo, MS where Elvis was born. I have only the one shot in this video of Elvis' birth place and that is because Tupelo just didn't have any decent photo opportunities. From Tupelo, MS we went up to Nashville, TN. I will post the video of that once I create it. After Nashville we went to Louisville, KY for the horse races. Finally we headed back for home in Fort Wayne, IN.

  • what happened to the music that was originally on here? you had 'stranger in my own hometown' along with 'memphis' ?

  • I changed the music to avoid copyright issues. I preferred the original music too!

  • Thanks for sharing this intriguing video. I visited Graceland from Australia back in 1987 and it's interesting to see the changes that have been made since then. Seems to have been an increase in the amount of things on display. The vehicle display appears to have improved markedly particularly in the area of protecting them from the elements, I seem to remember the jeep used in Blue Hawaii was out in the open when I visited, I think I have a picture of it somewhere. Anyway thanks again.

  • I'm really glad it brought back some good memories. This was my first trip there and it was well worth the time. There was so much to see and I wish I could have taken tons more photos but no flash photography was allowed so even though I could get pictures I had to take a bit more time to do so. They didn't have the Jeep outside anymore (at least not that I saw).

  • Awesome! I have to visit Graceland someday. Thank you for filming and sharing this video!

  • It was a great trip. I wish we would have spent a bit more time there but as it was we walked around Graceland for about 4 hours!

  • @auntsally56 You mean Ginger found him, Joe was one of the first on site after she told him he fainted, watch Joe's video on youtube here if you haven't seen it yet, its good.

  • get creed off here.....worst choice.

  • the bed you are talking about is on the LIsa Marie Plane.

  • I have to go there someday.. Seen lots of his jumpsuits, some jewelry and guns on different exhibitions. And the black Stutz Blackhawk with red leather interior. Thanks for the upload!

  • Wasn't that the Jeep at 4:42 of your video? I hope so as it looks to be the same one I photographed in '87 and I have been telling people it was ever since!!! Anyway I thought it appeared to be indoors in your picture. It was just in a non-descript area at the back of the house when I saw it. By the way could you please tell me what the story is with that bed that is covered in plastic like an Italian mate of mine's mother used to cover her sofa? Which I realize is a way of preserving it.
