Recorded at PAX East 2010 in Boston. This was Nvidia's introduction of its code named "Fermi" line of GPU's, the GTX 400 series. The GTX 480 and 470 were the only cards announced at PAX.

That wont work, you need 2 cameras for 3D ;) If you had glasses on, but only opened one eye, it wouldn't look 3D

@gamer1337omg I feel like this might be a turning point for Nvidia, they're losing money hand over fist and just can't seem to gain the edge over ATI in raw performance, efficiency and value. It's all very well having useless additions like 3d vision and Physx, I'd rather just have a consistent frame rate with as much bang for buck as possible. I wish them luck though.

@Morriusvids Bit-tech clocked it running at 96c at load on stock speeds. I would definitely not want to overclock this 25%, you'd be looking an exponential heat output of probably 130-150c! I was looking forward to seeing what the Fermi offered, I'm not an ATI fanboy (though I have a 5870 now, I had a GTX280 before). It seems that unfortunately the 480 and 470 are half baked and just can't compete with the 5870. Maybe they should concentrate less on proprietary technology and more on performance
