  • i remember when they played halftime at giant stadium my uncle lou was the major at the time they were great then and awesome now.

  • My late father was one of the original members of the Caballeros in 1946. He was originally with the St. George Cadets prior to WW II. Many of these members joined the Caballeros in 1946. His name is Bruce P. Matthew, Jr. and he was in the color guard. Some of the names of other original members were Jimmy Costello and Joe Scarber.

  • i love it!! my brother is now apart of the caballeros playing tenors and i hope to be joining in 2 years as a color guard member:) keep up the awesome work

  • This is GREAT STUFF!!! May they go on forever.

  • my grandfather was in the caballeros, but i dont think he was in anymore during 1979.

  • I LOVE reading all these comments, let alone watching this amazing video! Makes me an even prouder Caballero! I've been marching Cabs since 2002, and I'm the color guard captain now 4 years this summer. Been around the corps all my life thanks to my dad!!!

  • There was nothing better then watching Hawthorne come off the line at the Dream Contest in Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City every summer in the 60's,they would beat The Skyliners or Reily's Raiders every year. Ralphie was drum major and my uncle Joe on bugle. The best senior corp in the world!

  • saw them first time in 72 hooked me... yep and bucs need to learn just who they were competing against.. the best.. go cabs

  • Thanks for this vidcomp and props to Eddie Rivera and myself who made it onto the video (m 4:41) who were there 83-85 and had 2 consecutive undefeated seasons (that's right Bucs prelims don't count and a tie is not a loss)..Oh God..It's all so embarassing now.

  • where did you download it from? I don't see a download link here... I went to the cabs site and saw the promo video... should I download that?
