I know that's old but no one adequately replied to you. I just want to establish that your example is not a case of 'faith' (I'm talking about knowing your brain exists)
Another example: You drive across a bridge. Is it faith that the bridge will not break? No. We're quite confident in bridges. Why? Because we have statistical evidence as well as personal experience that such a thing wont happen. That is -evidence-. Faith is belief in the absence of such. Like in God.

@silverkeen07 His fire and brimstone rants are quite funny! This week they are sponsoring a hell night which is quite comical and it scares the shit out of the kiddies. In the spring they are going to have a field trip to the creationist museum/themepark. They are going to the Holy land at some point and visit the site where the virgin Mary experience the emaculate ejactulation & visit to the newly discovered archeological ruins of sodom and gomhora (the birthplace of gay anal sex)

@apeirce20 nope it would mean that everyone that is christina should NOT be in prison hence the religion is suppose to teach about love and helping each other, (and killing everyone else who doesn't believe in god aswell)
