Phil Napoleon and His Orchestra-Clarinet Marmalade-March 22, 1927. Phil Napoleon recorded Clarinet Marmalade for Victor and Edison. This is the Edison version.
@Wallerfan - Hey, Bob, come see what I've done with this music! This just went on my 1927 playlist. Use my playlists to step back in time to any year . . . . .
Averaging 2 hours each, my playlists for 300 artists & each of the past 120 years are meant to be your most accessable & intrnational music library ever !
From all I've read, Thomas Edison had no use at all for jazz. I suppose by 1927, when he was 80, he'd by and large foregone his hands-on approach to the business. Great record, and Edison always got a lot more recording time on his thick disks than the other companies.
