Shark Finning

This is a video about how much I dislike shark finning and why I think it's cruel inhuman and wrong. Since I know hardly anyone is going to read this, I won't bother writing everything in here that I wanted to write.

First off though, the music is horrible, but I'm limited right now because I'm using my friend's computer and this is the only music segments long enough to fit the video.

If you don't like it, turn the volume off.

I repeat, TURN THE VOLUME OFF.

Don't complain to me about it because I could really care less.

Next, I like sharks and respect them, so as a courteous and intelligent human being, keep your negative and inappropriate comments to yourself and don't bash other people's comments...

Unless they deserve it that is.

For all of you who won't read this and leave nasty mean comments anyways... You smell like dirt and crayons, so there.

I don't own the video clip segments nor the photos used in the video. This video is more or less used for educational purposes and to voice my opinion on shark finning.

If you can give a reason why you believe shark finning is right, then by all means, post a comment, dignified please without use of profanity or name calling.

Everyone can voice their opinion, as long as it is done in the correct way.

Nice Video I hate that people say that sharks are monsters and dangeous and kill people!!! People kill only a few humans a year whilst we are killing 100,000,000 sharks a year makes me wonder who is the real monster here

I think that we should protest at restaurants and markets where shark fins are sold. Show them some images like the one you show here. Protest against restaurants, outside of them on peak hours, protest to waiters when you see shark fin soup on the menu, ask to talk to the manager etc. If we do this in a big scale and get it into the news, and spread the word of what it going on more people will understand the issues. I just learned about this now and it disgusts me what is being done to sharks.

More effective to make a documentary without much comments and it may convince more people. Otherwise it would only alienate the undecided people, who need to make up their own minds. Just a suggestion to convince the undecided.

A few interesting facts about sharks are that their skin is resistant to bacteria growth. this has created a design called sharklet (spelling may be wrong) its a plastic film that can be placed on any surface and stop the growth of bacteria. Another interesting thing is sharks are resistance to cancer, the only animal - that i can think of - that cannot get cancer. Research done on sharks can help lead us to a cure to solving cancer.

Onya mate. that is the way to get important pointers across to the narrow minded people. I love sharks and for years have been making alot of discussions etc. I'd anything to save sharks... one of the world's greatest ocean animals.... and yes, I'd do think they are beautiful...small or big....all of 'em.

The shark fin doesn't even add flavour to the soup. Just texture, and we can add texture to soup by adding flour or milk, god damn. Why kill all these sharks for no reason? I think it's disgusting. I hope the people who do this get their arms and legs cut off to be made into soup. Then have the rest of their bodies thrown into water to die. Sharks are beautiful creatures. Leave them alone! D:
