  • 32 gusting to 40 knots on a 9m Fuel? Can you post a link to a wind sensor nearby? I kited in similar conditions in Hatteras and we were using a 5m Switchblade.

  • see the description now ^

  • Hmmm. I have Ikitesurf also. For Sunday April 6th the wind is showing an average of 27 mph (23 knots) with peak gust to about 40 mph (33knots) between 5 and 5:30. Lulls were in the low 20's. Looks like the URL is for April 7th.

I was concerned that some newbie might see this and think he could go out in 32 knts gusting to 40 on a C kite like a Fuel. You would need to weigh a fair amount to hold down a 9m Fuel in that sort of weather.

  • it says "too big" right after 9m fuel in the video.

i wasn't holding down the fuel, it was kicking my ass. i only went out for about 30 minutes

  • whats the song man?

  • bullet & a target by citizen cope

  • Oops got the wrong beach, Dewey instead of Lewes. Numbers are average of 30 mph = 26 knots

gusts to 40 only for a short burst and most of the time 35 mph (30 knots), lulls to 25 mph (21 knots)
