those 4.0L are one of the best engines ford has ever made, I have one in my 90 going up to 400,000 still strong it thinks its an F-350.

My fuel gauge don't work either. And its the fuel SENDER not pump. Fuel pump pump the fuel..... fuel sender floats and sends the info to your computer's info and gauge. Now we know. I have a 1990 and 154K Everything factory nother was replace but brake pads.

That was a 4.0L SOHC right? My 91' 4.0L OHV has a distributer not a coil pack. Not a fan of an Automatic, but I wouldn't say no to cruise control! Nice truck! :)
