Medicare fraud at this time has been well documented, These cost far exceed profits taken by private sector insurance as a percentage. When a program is for profit fraud is carefully monitored.
When has a public program ever been effecient and cost effective?. There is just no incentive to do so. Lastly the federal government was never intended to have such programs by our founders. The states however are free to do as they wish as long as they have a Republican form of government..

Health care should NOT be about profit as it currently is. People who are opposing the reform of this broken system are really fight against their own long-term interests.
If they want to let the private companies keep sucking them dry of hugh costs for coverage, that's fine, but not me.
I want the Gov to reform, compete, and lower costs so I can CHOOSE the best quality and low cost solution for me and my family.
Health care should be about the well being of people. Not about making profits!

We do not need more government in our health care program. Give the public a tax cut and let them choose thier own private insurance. Also as Americans we shoudl not be held financially responsible for the health care of illegal aliens. If you vote for government health care you lose my vote and other democratic votes.

I,m all for health ins.the one we have to needs to be updated not by the government, But by the private sector We as Americans should'nt be held responsible to support health care for illegal aliens also thier are alot of people who can afford private Ins but who choose not to buy it. I am all for a $4500 tax break and let people choose thier own insurance. If you vote for this government health care prg You won't get my vote. And thier are alot of Democarts who feel the same way!!!

This guy rocks! I live in Orange County, California and Mr. Becerra is a representative in the LA area. You guys up there are lucky to have this fine gentlemen looking after your interests. Watch C-Span and see how he is fighting for you! Especially on healthcare. This dude cares! He should run for Governor of California. Look what our GOP Govenator has done to our state! Good God, we need a Democrat to straighten us out here! Kudos to you Mr. Becerra! God Bless you and your family!
