  • how is it their fault? Did you know that some of the children in Africa have to take care of their own little brothers or sisters? Do you know how hard that is? You think its hard babysitting? Well amagine how it feels to be them. Amagine you had to take care of your brother or sister and you lived in Africa.I dont think its their fault its are own fault some people have the money but just don't help them like Paris Hilton.

  • Hi...I can vouch for WV..I do alot of volunteer work for them and have been there and seen ...what they say is ALL true. Yes, there is alot of corruption etc in the world of charities...but don't take my word for it...do your homework on World Vision for yourself and then help a child!!!!! I sponsor 3 children and it is amazing to see how they have grown and changed since sponsorship.

  • It's too bad none of these people receive any money/aid unless they convert to Catholicism...

  • @dk549100 Why did you start by saying you like all people? Did your mother use condom when she had you. You mother like sex without condom, why should that privilege be only for your mother. You are not God, so you can’t tell people what to do with their sex life. Just don’t sponsor if you don`t feel sympathetic.

  • I love World Vision. I started sponsoring a child every time I got a pay raise years ago and this year the first child I sponsored, their program is completed. I have received regular progress reports and have seen the difference a small bit of money makes. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the programs do as well as this one.

  • I'm currently sponsoring girl in Jerusalem, it costs almost nothing to change the life of a child and it gives yourself a piece of mind every day to know your changing the life of someone less fortunate for the better.

If you want to take it up a level, go to your nearest World Vision center and volunteer to gather sponsors for other children if you really want to make a difference!

  • Yes , this is so true. The child that I sponsor did send me pic of him and postcards with drawings and if I'm not wrong you also can volunteer in those country so I trust this organization.

  • If you explore the World Vision website, youll discover that their organization does more than just feed the hungry (a noble undertaking itself). Their goal is to help families and communities become stable enough to sustain themselves. Victims of war and natural disasters such as earthquakes, and drought, these children and communities need help in the form of medicine, education, water sanitation, clothing, agriculture training and yes, food.

World Vision does all of that and then some. =)
