In 2009 after a long trip by boat over the Mediterranean Sea, I returned to Mallorca and as i was about to leave again the island, this time for longer, I decided to make a video with this long traverse. First I checked if there was another one on youtube ad after i saw that at that moment nothing was published I started to make mine.
It's shot with one amateur camera and I had to go there different days (3?) for the footage. I needed the traverse "clean", with no people on the back ground. As it's an open place to anyone anytime, I couldn't just ask the other climbers not to climb because i wanted to do the video. Mainly that was the reason for me to be there for more than one day for taking the footage. I used a tripod and changed the camera position to have different angles, so that later in post production to have more to play with and give the impression that is shot on two cameras. For some footage I asked my mom to help me. So I explained her how to do the movements with the camera and she did it!
The location is at el dique del oeste, Palma de Mallorca and the sequence you see here is just half of the whole traverse. It's been told me that the whole traverse goes up to 7b (all in one go).
