Not safe at all man. Limbs will snap over time and get cracks in them so that's just not smart and is not covered by warranty. Practice drawn from the sitting position during the off season. Practice makes perfect. Bad idea on your part. Sincerely mathews dealer.

So in effect this makes your bow a crossbow. But it wasn't designed to be a crossbow and be held at full draw like this. I wonder whether the manufacturer's would be oblige to honor a warranty claim on a bow used like this?

From a safety point of view, does it have some sort of safety catch.

@1hunterdale im 14 shot 2 deer with mt bow 2 bear with my bow at 50 lbs. and 4 mulies and 4 antelope with rifle ive nver lost an animal and i just shot a rabbit at 55 yards with my new bow so shut it!

I do not know about all states, but I do know that in CA, and OR. that device is illigal to use.
