i know y people don't pay him enough attention. He's a bassist. It will never matter what he does unless he switches instruments or starts singing he will never get the credit he deserves. Gene Simmons and Paul McCartney r the only bassist i can think of who got significant attention and y? they sang . so is it right that he is forgotten, NO... but what do we expect really?

I agree that he deserves more credit than he gets. There are definitely less recognized bassists out there than guitarists. But you left some good ones like Flea, Cliff Burton, Fieldy, and Steve Harris. :)

As a bassist, I can explain to you why Johnny Christ gets no respect. He's a bassist. We never get any respect, even though we hold the music together. Bassists are usually lazy and obnoxious by stereotype, so that could be part of the reason why people don't like him as much.

Next time you see a bassist, give him a hug, we don't get any respect, but we do have stories to tell =D

its not that we ACTUALLY dont like him. we give him shit cuz he is the bassist and (until recently) the youngest and newest member of the band. if you watch the all access dvd they discus the "no body cares about johnny" thing and they said its all one big tacit joke. we all love him, avenged would not be the same without him. plus, he is the coolest lookin bassist on stage!
