Pakistanis face hardship in Afghanistan - 25 Jan 08

Growing instability in northern Pakistan has led to refugees fleeing to live in some of Afghanistan's southern provinces.

Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Khost where some of the refugee have sought sanctuary.

Why is it the on both side of the border only pashtuns are suffering???? So many have fled from bajawar as well. Its all because of the opression of the grear pashtuns. Why do they get oppressed? because they are the ones standing up. To whom? to america and the rest. While the rest of the ethnicities are just plain slaves. The way I see it, Pashtuns from one place went to another Pashtun area for refuge. It is a Pashtun matter. Even the tribes coincide across durand, so what are the punjabis bickering about. Pakhtana will unite one day. It is only a matter of time.

Funny how some people never ever wondered why Pashtuns have to leave Pakistan where most of the places are safe and settle in Afghanistan instead, which is still under war?
