using a sawmill bed/carriage and a dewalt 12.5" electric planer head to plane reclaimed 12"x11" doug fir floor beam for our timberframe.

lot's of clamps, squares, levels and patience. I welded slow, jumping from corner to corner and in between. It wasn't a fast process but the bed is straight as an arrow and level.
