These stations of the cross are located behind the Basilica of St. Therese in Lisieux.
The last image, a painting of St. Therese praying the stations of the cross in the nuns' choir of Carmel represents her transverberation, The transverberation refers to a person's heart being mystically pierced by love. This image was used during the canonization of St. Therese in Rome, 1925.
