Ruth Luckasson, JD, Distinguished Professor at UNM, is co-author of "Intellectual Disability: Definition, Classification, and Systems of Supports" She talks about the importance of the legal profession's understanding of all aspects of intellectual disability in both criminal and civil cases. She also addresses the unique problems individuals with ID and higher IQ face in the justice system.
