Hyundai made its return again in Thailand, not its first time and not the same old retailer. Hyundai presents its best way to reside on Thai Market alongside Red Carpet strategy: The CKD Sonata NF, 2.4 Theta and 2.0. Assembly processes done by Thonburi Manufacturing Plant, Thailand's another great plant which good emphasizing on build Mercedes-Benz models for more than six decades ago. Only one sad thing is, South Korea released the newer version and get some TRANSFORMERS scheme. Other models are all CBU's: Second generation Santa Fe and New Tuscani coupe.
Then again, there's an additional model, The 12-seater Grand Starex as the surprise prepared for this event, believed to be a fourth model of Hyundai Motor Thailand model lineup sooner or later.
But HMT believes that the event would be nothing but an easy-complained selling zone. So what could be more logical than bring a concept vehicle to the booth: The I-Blue.

Let me say to you first of all that the one in the booth is just a base model. The price is 989,000THB (declared in last day). Luxury models immediately followed in first quarter of 2008. Highest price as of now is 1.33 million THB. Please note: they were all imported.

oh cool, Thailand? i didnt even know that hyundai had an assembly plant there. hyundai is getting huge. honda toyota and even nissan better watch out. i would like to see hyundai make a serious off road vehicle though. im more of a truck guy, the sonata is the first car i ever had. ive had several trucks from toyota and nissan. if they should come up with a truck it should be something to see. the veracuze and the santa fe are a bit too feminin to me, looks like my girls car.

These Sonatas just CKD's. Assembled in Thailand by Thonburi group production facility. With this, so the price here can be around 1.1 million THB to 1.5 million THB. As if you said about newer model (SONATA TRANSFORM), we can still expected to see that but maybe not this year.

wow, thanks for your responce, its just that i have a 2007 sonata 2.4L 4 cyl. and i am interested in sticking to sonatas, im planning on getting the 2009 they look very good and should meet my expectation as the one i have has been doing. so i really would like to know other people's views on them.
