Elegant tribute to Anne...I saw Forbidden Planet and someone here mentioned Twilight Zone...yes, I watched re-runs...love that show! She was in episodes

As a Twilight Zone fan I wrote Anne Francis a few years back to thank her for her body of work as an actress. She was gracious enough and personable enough to write me back, I will always admire her genuine affection toward her fans and will miss her. Thank you Anne.

I had an obsessive crush on Anne Francis when I was a teenager back in the 80s. It was kind of a "Pictures Of Lily" thing. She seemed so enigmatic. It was the "girl in danger" roles that appealed to me the most. I always assumed that she had mysteriously retired back in the early 70s. It wasnt until I saw her in a TV show around 10yrs back that I realized that she was still working and still very beautifull. Its a shame the media didnt give more attention to her passing.
