this is my take on a budget cook set for camping and hiking. it costs nothing to make except ones own time. i hope it inspires others to make low cost things and not be drawn into purchased gadgetry.
I hope to pull away from reviews and get out in the area around where i live.
and if i do a review of some piece of equipment it will be in the setting it is intended for rather than my little work shop.

GREAT! but 1 thing , I'm pretty sure baked bean cans and similiar have like an inner coating of stuff to keep acidic contents from eating the can.
Other cans have a polished gold coating on the inside , doesnt oxidide and ruin food in the fridge ?
Might work better /more healthy - what do you think ?

Very clever little stove! I used to live on a sailboat and had a stove fueled by denatured alcohol (I'm in the US). Do you use batting inside the cooker part, or just light the alcohol directly?

Your homemade stove is as good as the ones they sell, but for the purposes of easy clean up, nothing beats a titanium snow peak cookset. Great video though
