27 Year Old Killed in Pamplona Bull Run

The annual running of the bulls in the Spanish city of Pamplona has suffered its first human fatality for six years. The San Fermines fiesta attracts devotees from all over the world. Todays incident happened during the fourth run in this years event.
Cameras captured the moment as 27-year-old Spaniard Daniel Jimeno Romero was gored as one of the bulls veered into a crowd. Emergency surgery at the scene failed to save him; at least nine other people were injured, three of them seriously including a 20-year-old Briton and a 24-year-old man from Argentina.

Romero is the fifteenth person to die since 1911, the first since 2003. The running of the bulls was made famous by Ernest Hemmingway in his novel The Sun Also Rises. Hundreds of runners participate, usually partying all night long before the early morning dash through the streets towards the bull ring.

Personally; I am against bull run and bull fights.
I understand the culture as I have been in Spain many times, even lived next to a fight area; But I am a person who loves the animals; and some traditions are unnecessary in my opinion; So I don't like it and I think it's good that things like these happen, (I don't wish anyone dead, just think the riot of the bulls, is a good thing) as I hope this will be taken into consideration whether there will be a race again next year. Which I am, sad to say, sure it will be.

the running of the bulls is good. after they are done with the runn they kill them and donate all the meat from the bulls to te homeless. this is great for the community.
