Ok, so whoever thought of this bid, inisip ba nya kung kelan pa last na nagkagold ang pinas sa wolrd olympics? pang SEAgames at Asian Games lang ang gold natin! :)) Kea Athletes muna, bago mag host ng olympics!

@zeamays1217 yup... yun din iniisip ko... i think i like either cebu or davao better, pero as of now, medyo magulo sa mindanao kaya cebu muna ako.... pero the whole idea that the philippines will eventually host the olympics is not far.... hintay na lang tayo ng onti... focus muna sa mga tao... pag medyo lumuwag na, tsaka na magpatayo ng mga sports facilities.... at sana naman suportahan ng gobyerno ang mga athletes natin... malaki din ang mga potential natin

Having the Olympics in the Philippines would help our large tourist business. Although budgets may be tight now, look at where they held the world cup . . . SOUTH AFRICA ! They are really poor but with the help of the Olympics they were able to get their name out there. To those who think we should win gold first . . . Canada just held the Vancouver 2010 games but never made a gold either until now !
I say the Philippines can hold the Olympics but maybe not now . . . :)
