Bob Sheppard is still alive

I think the three all-time PA announcers in baseball are/were:
1. Bob Sheppard (NY Yankees-deceased).
2. Dan Baker (Phillies-current)
3. Bob Casey (Minn. Twins-deceased).

Dan's one of the best PA announcers in Major League Baseball.
He's certainly much better than the lady who does the PA duties in San Francisco - she'll put you to sleep. She sounds like she's on Quaaludes!
The Mets PA announcer sounds like he's completely bored and makes his announcements in a dull monotone.
Dan can get even the most-bored fan excited about the next Phillies batter.
Now batting for the Phillies...number one, center fielder, Rich-ie Ash-burn!! ;-)
