Yes they do-If these celebs were average they wouldnt do shit-they like exploting the poor to exploit there careers and pretend to be super americans-they are are liars! Without the cameras these stars are average and legal thiefs. I mena by that they charge a shit load of money for cd's and for people to hear them sing and poor people take their last dollar to buy them and then the celebs go on vacation with the money that someone should be eating on.

Do celebrities only play the African "poverty"card,just to enhance their careers and indeed,to ease their guilt.There is really nothing they do in practical terms,that seems to empower the very people they so happily parade in front of cameras.

the comment you made about doing research to find out if people really do die from HIV is why i said you should do research because it seemed like you didnt believe ppl died from that and only died from poverty. Sorry if I insulted you or anything. Wasnt my intention in the least. Ppl say they die from aids because as you said the test can show its hiv when its other things. But most of the world doesnt know that. We only know what is reported to us.

animesoular I think you need to do some research. In africa HIV is one of the top killers of human beings. Men who are infected believe if you have sex with someone who doesnt then its going to cure it and all it does is spread it around. And because of no birthcontrol the woman give birth to babies with the same disease.

I just got back from Uganda...everything she said is so true. There are a crazy amount of African children orphaned because their parents died from aids.
The government is actually leaps and bounds better than it used to be, there are so many officials and town council members who ARE making a substantial difference. There is hope in Africa, because of the people in Africa.

why would you hate her? she doesn't have to wear poor clothes to prove that she supports this foundation. and if she didnt care why would she put her time and effort into all this that she has been putting in commercials for probably her whole career. and doesnt matter what she wears, at least she cares about this charity.

That is a really stupid reason for you to "hate" her. Maybe that IS how she normally dresses! You want her to go in a robe & bunny slippers? She's not trying to show her "wealth" to these people. Why should she dress down in any way if she goes back to the U.S., and has to dress back up anyways. That would be even worse then going to Africa with the clothes she was wearing because then people would think that she dressed down for them out of pity. That's pretty offensive if you ask me.
