9 (the character) didn't want to destroy the others, he just woke up and was completely clueless that he would wake up the evil machine. And I never saw 7 having romantic feelings toward 9, she just wanted to make sure he didn't die.

Well I suppose it all depends. I mean the word Pi has fewer letters than the word Nine yes. But they both have 1 syllable. And the title for the movie Pi is actually just the symbol for Pi. As the title for 9 is the number 9. So is a symbol shorter than a number? ahhhhh the questions. lol. But I actually did think of Pi as a definate worthy contester for the shortest title in history like as in ever. lol. Good catch my friend.

I have to respectfully disagree Jeremy. Though the film's story and characters lacked depth, the action, though it takes a little while to get there, makes up for it because its so bad-ass. I really enjoyed it, but I can see why you hated it. Its a shame you're not a little more open minded when you go into the movie rather than looking at some of the little flaws. Good review nonetheless.

HAHAHA! You know whats funny: While reviewing this one, I thought "chatalbash is going to HATE this one". lol. I am actually open minded. But I just like the movies to at least make sense (within the realm of fantasy that they create) Ultimately I felt by the end that everything that happened didn't need to happen. It just felt pointless with no payoff.
