Failure to Yield Close Call

A soccer mom almost gets hit by a big truck when she fail to yield in the rain. The truck was coming down the exit ramp on the Huey P. Long bridge from the West Bank and would not have been able to stop, had he tried.

Prior to her failure to yield she had gone straight across the intersection from a right turn only lane. To make matters worse, the left lane, which I was in, has the option to turn right or go straight.

I wonder if mom knows how close she came to getting hit. The camera angle makes it appear as if she was not as close to being hit as she actually was.
