so much about Karajan... he didn't have the outward passion that Bernstein had... that's what makes Bernstein's direction so exhilarating to watch! And to be honest the Karajan videos were a bit too arty for me.
When I heard Neun Symphonie I just can simply think in perfection. It's ineffable how Beethoven can orchestrated this master work being deaf, simply marvelous!!
Specially in 2:09 when start questioning Ihr stürzt nieder, Millionen? in this moment I feel breathless.. just magnificent.. to feel almost a teophany on this chords, just divine..
