James over at PavedWave.org has posted some video taken of me on the day last year during the Long Distance Pumping 24 Hour Event known as Ultra Skate IV...I rode like this all day and all night...and am still amazed by the experience.
I have taken a break from long distance pumping for the time being...trying to get back to a couple earlier passions that I have not finished with yet...most importantly, my desire to try an Ironman with pre 1900 technology...
But, you can be sure I will come back for more skateboarding in the future...especially if the ideal course is found.

Thats insane 242miles in 24hrs You have to be in real good shape.The most i have been able to do at wun time is 20miles best time is 3.5hrs on a demon seed.Kicking with both legs and pumping.
Some times i use a l/y dhr with 97flys for short fast pumping.Thanks for the inspiration.

By the way, the record was broken this year by Canadian Paul Kent...245 miles!!! So, I have to come out of retirement to try and break the record again!!!

@panagoties Yep...with some pushing coming up to Green Lake from Gas Works park (after doing Gas Works to Merrymore twice). Green Lake was basically all pumping. This video is the only video record I have although there are a bunch of photos on my blog. James Peters (recorder holder before me) put on the event.
