this is played on an S 19. This is my travel model that i take to phonograph events to play my diamond discs. it has the bottom of the cabinet cut off(where the records would be stored.so its like a B 19. lol.its looks great.it does have the plywood bottom across the base of the underneath. and was like that when i bought it.. It was really solid and sound case wise. the spring and motor were in excellent shape. it runs very quiet. the only thing i did was put a coat of finish on it and clean it up inside and out and lube it up a bit.. only cost me 150 bucks i was fortunate enough to purchase a DANCE reproducer from an aquaintance of mine. its solid and appears to be brand new. the stylus is the original. i had new gaskets put in it. the finish is the original nickle finish, it shines like new, and sounds like it too...i spent 245 on the dance reproducer, so you can expect to pay that if you want one of those. I paid about the same for my EDISONIC. for those of you that dont know the difference between the dance and edisonic..they are similar except that the only reason that the dance has the three screw flange on it was to access the tension spring that was hooked to the diaphram to prevent the diaphram from bowing due to being to hot or cold temperatures. edison must have later figured out that he didnt need it when he came out with the edisonic. they both have the same large heavy weight and spring above the stylus. The diaphram was SUPPOSEDLY thicker when the EDISONIC reproducer was made.(so he didnt need the extra spring above the diaphram) so they say, boy talk about a marketing genious as well. the two reproducers look and sound exaclty alike. except for the engineering change. Comments are welcome!!! enjoy the video
What a fun tune!
